Franczek Radelet P.C. is a labor, employment and education boutique law firm with approximately 50 lawyers representing private and public sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including counseling and compliance, employment litigation, union-related matters and employee benefits. The firm was founded in 1994 by 19 attorneys from some of Chicago’s largest multi-services firms.
Franczek Radelet remains true to its original values and premise—client service is at the heart of all its work. Most firms say it but we say it and mean it—our lawyers differentiate us from other firms. The common thread that runs through each of our lawyers is a sincere commitment to provide clients the service they deserve and the service they come to expect from us. We do not hold client service out as an added value—it is simply integrated into our practice.
We created FMLA Insights to provide a resource for the clients and friends of the firm—an outlet in which to help them navigate the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). This blog is just one example of the added value and superior service we provide. The FMLA is a conundrum, regularly tripping up even the most experienced professionals and attorneys. Thus, the goal of this blog is straightforward: we will keep readers aware of notable court cases involving FMLA issues and provide practical advice to employers to help them avoid getting “tripped up” by the FMLA. When an employer is better aware of its rights and obligations under the FMLA, it leads to reduced liability and (dare we say) happier and more productive employees.
